Oatmeal Morning Milkshake
A great way to drink your oats in the morning! Prepare Steps 1 – 4 the night before. This healthy shake serves 1 person adequately.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup Captain Oats Quick Cooking Oats
1 cup milk
1 tablespoon granulated sugar
1 banana, peeled
1 tablespoon peanut butter
1 tablespoon chocolate flavoured syrup

Method:
- Cook ½ cup of Captain Oats® Quick Cook Oatmeal as per instruction on the pack.
- Combine cooked oats, 3/4 cup milk, chocolate syrup and granulated sugar in a mixing bowl.
- Mix well.
- Pour the mixture into an ice-cube tray and freeze.
- Combine banana and remaining 1/4 cup milk together. Blend in an electric blender until smooth.
- Remove frozen oatmeal cubes from the tray.
- Add frozen cubes to the mixture in the blender, one at a time. Blend on medium-high speed until all cubes are liquefied and the mixture is well blended.
- Add peanut butter and blend until smooth. Pour and enjoy!
